Picked this up at a coin show a few months ago.

4 Troy oz silver, replica $100 note.

Ya I paid too much over spot, but I wanted one. lol

It has great appeal & makes a good conversation piece. I'd rethink "I paid too much over spot..." unless it meant that the kids didn't have any milk for their cereal.

IMO personal desirability and appeal have additional value, and so does a (once in a while) "treat" - maybe just for fun or the hell of it.

I've got one; don't remember what FRNs I traded but know it a higher premium than what I normally trade for rounds or bars. But what the heck...it wasn't a usual bar or round and grandma liked it too = peace!
